Planning and development is an area of work where we, as Chartered Surveyors, can potentially add significant value to a client’s existing assets. However, planning and development is a complex, and potentially challenging, area of work and our team are committed to providing the most professional, pragmatic, current and realistic advice when it comes to property development.

We have extensive local knowledge and have strong contacts with the planning departments in a number of local councils enabling us to successfully navigate through the often daunting maze of a planning application.

We frequently work on planning and development projects including:

  • Polytunnels, reservoirs, lagoons
  • Renewables
  • Option or promotion agreements

Many of our clients own land within or adjoining towns and villages with growth potential. We have extensive experience in promoting land for development and negotiating Option or Promotion agreements with developers. We also deal with the sale of land with planning consent including both large and small-scale residential development schemes.
