Annabel Fearnall MNAEA
Annabel is one of the longest standing members of the team having been involved with the firm since its inception in 2008, becoming a partner in the business in 2021. Prior to working for Barbers property agents and Barbers Rural, Annabel worked for another local firm of rural surveyors in their estate agency office in Shrewsbury and also spent time working on several local Taylor Woodrow new homes sites. Born, bred and still living near Whitchurch, Annabel has an inherent knowledge of this stunning area and is keen to share her passion with anyone considering buying and selling in the vicinity. Highly skilled, knowledgeable and experienced in the varied, and often complex, facets of rural property sales, Annabel has an intrinsic understanding of the stress which can accompany selling and buying property. Her cool, calm and collected demeanour means she is an extremely safe pair of hands.
Annabel has two small children and, like many others, she successfully juggles taxi duties, motherhood and work. However, in her sparse spare time she enjoys horse riding and outdoor sports and, as a result, is exceptionally comfortable advising clients on both equestrian and farm purchases.
Stephanie Vernon MNAEA
Cheshire born and bred, Steph is married to a dairy farmer with whom she has just renovated their family’s 18th century farmhouse meaning she has great vision when it comes to property that is in need of some tender loving care. Steph started her career in estate agency working for a large corporate firm, and though this formed a great platform for her she felt that it lacked the personal touch she wanted to provide. After a stint away from estate agency she felt the pull back to the industry and joined a well-reputed family run company. Four years later along came the Covid 19 Pandemic lockdown which brought the housing market to grinding halt and gave Steph time to re-evaluate her career. The time felt right to find a new path closer to home within the agricultural market and, as Barbers Rural has an ethos of exceptional customer service in keeping with her own view, she happily joined the dynamic team. Steph comes into her own when negotiating sales and she manages all the sales progression within the business. It is testament to her skills that Barbers Rural had an 80% completion rate in 2021. “The thrill of the chase” is what motivates her to achieve the very best for her clients.
