Mike Taylor, Senior Partner of Barbers Rural, will be visiting Highgrove House and Estate this week whilst attending the Annual Conference of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers (CAAV). The two day event is being held in the Centenary Year of the CAAV and is a great opportunity to ensure that, as a firm, we are totally up to date with legislation and lobbying on behalf of the farming community.
The Annual Conference is being hosted this year by the Gloucestershire and District Agricultural Valuers' Association and this year's President is HRH The Prince of Wales. Mark Webb FRICS FAAV (President of Gloucestershire and District Association) said that he was delighted that they had been able to arrange a visit to Highgrove.
Each year the Conference delegates get the opportunity to have a behind the scenes tour of a local working estate. 'It is always interesting to look at new ways of diversification', said Mike Taylor. 'I find it helps me develop an even broader view of estate management and farming opportunities, which helps when I am working with clients'.
