Belton Cheese, based in Whitchurch Shropshire, has seen sales to the United States grow by 39% compared with last year, according to the Farmers Guardian.
According to sales manager, Phil Jones, it is the local provenance which is one of the primary reasons for the brand's success. The firm has been promoting its range at North America's largest speciality food and beverage event, the Winter Fancy Food Show in San Francisco recently.
